Why Gibson Doesn't Suck Right Now.

So I put a post up about Gibson, then I see this.
The most stunning attribute of the new SG Carved Top–Autumn Burst (and there are many) is its highly figured maple top that rises unexpectedly from the traditional – yet still radical – dual-horned SG mahogany body shape, which is then given a gloss Autumn Burst nitrocellulose finish to bring out the full depth of its stunning grain. It is without question the finest wood ever applied to the SG in its 49-year history, and it makes this Limited Run Series guitar a must for any Gibson aficionado.
Now that is a great looking guitar.
Hello. My name is Jim Fleeting. At my workshop in Ripon, North Yorkshire, I create custom guitars and basses for customers around the UK and Europe. The Guardian describes me as one of the UK’s leading luthiers, which is nice of them. I built the UK’s first nine string bass and popped up in Guitarist and Guitar & Bass magazine, after winning an award from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust. I also head Jim Fleeting Guitars’ thriving repair shop.
Maybe, but I’m still annoyed with Gibson over its stupid and insulting position on Garrison warranties. Gibson bought the company but refuses to honour any Garrisoon warranties. I had to cause a bit of a stink to get anyone to do the right thing. My local luthier was great; Gibson customer service was bad.
Now I know the first thing I’ll buy when I hit the Powerball! It’s so beautiful that I cry a little bit knowing that I could never afford one.
